Biennal d'Art Jove Acadèmia de Belles Arts de Sabadell

El proper dimecres 4 de setembre s'inaugura la Biennal d'Art Jove de l'Acadèmia de Belles Arts de Sabadell, a la que participo amb una fotografia de la serie "Autòpsia d'un camí". L'esdeveniment tindrà lloc a les 19.00 de la tarda a l'Acadèmia, al Passeig de Manresa 22 de Sabadell, aquí.

Les peces es podrán visitar fins al 6 d'octubre de dimarts a dissabte de 17.30 a 20.30 i diumenge de 12.00 a 14.00 hores. 

Next Wednesday 4th September the Sabadell Academia de Belles Arts will open the Young Art Biennal, in which I participate with a photograph from the series "Autòpsia d'un camí". The event will take place at 19.00 at the Academia, at Passeig de Manresa 22 in Sabadell.

The exhibition will be open to visit until October 6th from tuesday to saturday from 17.30 to 20.30 and sunday from 12.00 to 14.00 hours.

La Màquina de Retratar estarà aquest dissabte 27 de juliol al Flea Market @ Porta'm a L'Hort, a Nou Barris. No et perdis aquesta oportunitat de fer-te un retrat al meu estudi portàtil i emportar-te una fotografía única.

"Cinco espacios, cinco concursos y cinco temáticas. La ciudad habla: las galerías eligen sus conceptos, los creativos muestran sus obras y participan,y esta vez, el público también decide".

Una de les imatges de "Hummus & Urbs" s'exposa a Meeatings23. La peça va ser seleccionada juntament amb altres 10 obres pel jurat de la convocatòria Grand.geyser, les quals vàren ser sotmeses a votació popular durant una setmana. Finalment, les cinc més votades estaran exposades fins al 15 de juliol al carrer Sant Joaquim 23 de Barcelona. Es pot visitar de 9.30 a 13.30 y de 16.00 a 20.00 hores. 

"Five spaces, five contests and five themes. The city speaks: the galleries choose their concepts, the creatives show their work and participate, and this time, the public also gets to decide".

One of the images of "Hummus & Urbs" is being exhibited at Meeatings23. The piece was selected together with 10 more works by the jury of Grand.geyser, which were voted by the public during a week. Finally, the five most voted are going to be, until 15th july,  at this gallery located at Sant Joaquim 23 in Barcelona. The opening times are from 9.30 to 13.30 and from 16.00 to 20.00 hours.

Festival Mirades - Torroella de Montgrí

El projecte "Autòpsia d'un camí" participa al "Mirades", el III Festival de Fotografia de Natura que organitzen els Amics de la Fotografia de Torroella de Montgrí. Les nou imatges que formen aquesta sèrie s'exposaran a la Capella de Sant Antoni de Torroella de Montgrí, situada a la plaça de la vila, des del 6 fins al 30 d'abril.

La inauguració tindrà lloc el dissabte 6 d'abril a les 11.30 hores. 

The project "Autòpsie of a way" takes part of "Mirades", the III Nature Photography Festival of Torroella de Montgrí, organized by the Association Amics de la Fotografia de Torroella de Montgrí. The nine images that compose this series is going to be exhibited at the Sant Antoni Chapel at Torroella de Montgrí, located at the central square of this town, from the 6th until the 30th April. 

The opening will take place on saturday 6th at 11.30 hours.

Exposició Amics de les Arts - Retrats

Ahir es va inaugurar l'exposició col·lectiva "Retrats" als Amics de  les Arts i Joventuts Musicals de Terrassa. Es tracta d'una mostra de fotografies de terrassenc i terrassenques en la que participo. S'hi exposen els retrats de dos persones que em son molt properes, el meu germà Franc i el meu amic i company de pis Carles.

Les fotografies es podran veure al Carrer del Teatre 2 de Terrassa, del 2 al 21 de febrer cada dia de 19.00 a 21.00 hores.

Yesterday the colective exhibition "Portraits" was opened at the Amics de  les Arts i Joventuts Musicals at Terrassa. I participate in this event which shows photographs of people from the city. There will be portratis of two very special people exhibited, my brother Franc and my friend and flatmate Carles. 

The pictures can be seen at Carrer del Teatre 2, from 2nd to 21st February every day from 7 to 9 pm.

Quan Sigui Gran a Torroella de Montgrí

 Una altra bona notícia!

Quan Sigui Gran s'exposa del 1 al 27 d'octubre al Claustre de l'Hospital de Torroella de Montgrí. S'hi poden veure un total de 19 peces, creades a partir de dues o tres fotografies. És la vegada que he pogut incloure més retrats, en concret uns cinc més a la mostra anterior.

Gràcies als Amics de la Fotografia de Torroella de Montgrí puc exposar en aquest bonic espai, un lloc inmillorable amb moltissima llum i un jardinet central preciós. Si us animeu a anar-hi, el Claustre  es troba al carrer Hospital número 2 de Torroella de Montgrí, a Girona. Està obert cada dia de 10.00 a 20.00 hores.

Even more good news! 

Quan Sigui Gran is going to be exhibited from the 1st until the 27th October at the Claustre de l'Hospital at Torroella de Montgrí (Girona). A total of 19 pieces are being shown, each of them created with two or three images. This is the exhibition where I have been able to present more portraits, exactly five more than the last time.

Thanks to the Amics de la Fotografia de Torroella de Montgrí  I can show my work in this beautiful space, a perfect location with great light and a very nice central garden. If you want to visit it, the cloister is located at the calle Hospital number 2 in Torroella de Montgrí, Girona. Its opening times are 10.00 to 20.00 hours from Monday to Friday.

"Quan sigui gran" va ser seleccionat per aparèixer al llibre "Positivo" editat pel Pa-ta-ta Festival de Fotografia Emergent de Granada.  El llibre, que compta amb un total de 28 treballs de fotògrafs a nivell internacional, té com a objectiu buscar mirades fresques, realistes i creatives.

Vaig rebre'n un exemplar la setmana passada. Així es com ha quedat.


"When I grow up" has been selected to take part in the book "Positivo" published by the Pa-ta-ta Festival de Fotografia Emergent de Granada. The book, which  features a total of 28 projects of photographers from all over the world, focuses on creative, fresh and documentary photographers. 


 I received my copy last week. This is how it looks.

Biennal Olot Fotografia 2012

El projecte "Quan Sigui Gran" forma part de  la Biennal Olot Fotografia d'aquest 2012.  L'esglèsia vella de Castellfollit de la Roca ha estat l'espai escollit per acollir les 15 peces que representen el treball. La mostra  es podrà veure del 7 de juliol al 25 d'agost. L'horari de visita es de 10.00 a 14.00 i de 16.00 a 20.00 hores.

The project "When I grow up" is part of this year's Biennal Olot Fotografia. The old church of Castellfollit de la Roca has been the space selected to host the 15 pictures which represent the work. The exhibition started on July 7th and will be open until August 25th. The opening hours are 10.00 to 14.00 and 16.00 to 20.00 hours.
